Joe Russo’s Almost Dead is a project jumpstarted bh drummer Joe Russo in 2013. He formed a band that will perform the legendary music of Grateful Dead. The following year, the band has booked numerous gigs performing in major festivals including the Grateful Dead tribute festival, Gathering of the Vibes. That same year, the band performed a show in New York with Grateful Dead’s member Phil Lesh on bass. Over the years, JRAD has performed in bigger, more prominent festivals and toured with rock bands like Umphrey’s McGee.
